Dear KBIA,

Sure, you want to do a story on new cooking oils produced by genetic modification. But there's no need to begin by informing us that fried food is both delicious and unhealthy. There's even less need to interview someone who works at Bengal's to testify to the fact that people enjoy eating fried stuff. This is what we in the freshman composition business call the "Since the beginning of time..." intro. Cut it.
